HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
The Seethakkathi Matriculation School was found in the year 1987,located in a building adjacent to the burma tamil muslim jumma masjid, Nethaji Nagar,Tondiarpet, Chennai-81,who are the sponsors of the school.
The school was founded with the main objectives of imparting higher education to the people of Nethaji Nagar who are mostly repatriates from burma.We are very proud of announcing that all of our students who have appeared for Xth Examination have passed with distinction.We are optimistic that all our students who have appeared this year also will definitely pass in full with distinction
We are constructing additional buildings year by year to accomadate the increasing of our students.We are having computer wing also in our school to meet the modern need of our society and the students from UKG to Xth and learning the computer techniques.
The main objectives of the school is to inculcate all the qualities in the minds of the students which would develop the students mental,physical and spritual growth and bring out their innate capabalities and talents.The school not only imparts education but also imposes good discipline and decency amongst the students in order to make them responsible citizen of our secular state.
The medium of instruction of the school is purely english .We are offer Tamil and Hindi as second languages.The subjects are taught by highly qualified trained and experienced teachers.The school enlightens the religious instructions whereas the other students are getting moral instructions.
Our library provides the students to be very informative day to day laffairs around them in the country and abroad.The students are getting practical knowledge in all the wings of modern science through the well-equipped labarotary of our school.
Insha Allahe we hope that our school will be a treasure for our society to cope up with the need of the fast growing 21st century.
